February 2, 2009 - Oak Forest Sales & Consulting has been invited to attend a 3 day medical equipment conference and expo, HMEexpo, taking place in Baltimore Maryland during mid April. Tom D'Ambrosio has also been asked to visit congress and meet with Michigan Senators Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow along with Congressman Dave Camp, to discuss issues that effect disabled business owners and their employees. Tom will be representing Saginaw Medical during the visit and he hopes to be setting up a business to business contract relationship with that company upon return from the nations capital.
November 4-7, 2008 - Tom D'Ambrosio earns a scholarship to attend the Michigan Rehabilitation Conference at Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City. The scholarship provides an exhibitor's booth and Oak Forest Sales & Consulting participates in it's first trade show. Hundreds of trade show attendees stop by and pick up information on the company's product offerings.
October 2008 - Oak Forest Sales & Consulting holds its first formal sales class for the Bicycle Shop of Grayling, Michigan. The training goes extremely well as the first class is cordially accepted by all attending students. Numerous positive comments and feedback remarks are received from veteran and journeymen salespersons who participated in the training session.Late Summer 2008 - Tom D'Ambrosio officially launches the new business, Oak Forest Sales & Consulting, LLC.
